Hi, I’m Ola

After 15 years in the corporate world, I took the leap and started my own studio in Eindhoven.

I create one-of-a-kind lamps, home and garden decorations all with a focus on upcycling. I enjoy searching for unusual objects, experimenting with materials, and discovering new ways to give forgotten things a new purpose.

While many of my pieces are made with vintage glass, I love exploring different styles, from Mid-Century Modern and Art Deco to Industrial, Boho, and Contemporary designs.

No two pieces are exactly the same, unless they're intentionally created as a set.

When you get yourself a Firefly creation, you're getting something truly unique.

My process

Treasure hunt

I'm always on the lookout. During my travels, I wander through antique shops, flea markets, and craft shops, searching for unique pieces.

Back at the studio, each find gets the care it deserves. I clean, repair and preserve every piece, preparing it for its next chapter.

Restore

This is where the fun begins. I mix, match, and experiment with shapes, materials, colors, and light until the right composition appears.

Play

I drill, glue, sand, paint, learn new techniques, and test. Ideas become objects, and discarded pieces come together in a completely new form.
